Alice Raikes Distinguished Teaching Award & Outstanding Alums

  RAIKES HONORED TEACHER AWARD Each year the Alice Raikes family honors one teaching staff member with the Alice Raikes Distinguished Teaching Award. The award is announced at our annual Foundation spring dinner. Welding Team Does Well at 1st Competition

13 A-G students competed the York Welding Invitational this week. Not only were these kids commended regarding their skills, but many people commented to Mr. Keller about their good manners, as well. For many, it was the first time competing in a welding competition and they should be congratulated on a job well done, so if you see any of them give them a high five!  O/A - 1st Peyton . . .

Fall Break 2025

As a reminder, Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving break starting on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025.  This closure includes both a.m. and p.m. sessions of Preschool.  We look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday, December 1st, 2025.  Thank you, and have a great evening and Thanksgiving break! Special Election Passes

The   Special Election   requesting approval for the board to exceed its' property tax authority   for the 2026.2027 school year has passed.    Statute for this election issue requires a 60% approval rate.  Though the election results still need to be certified, the Saunders County Election Clerk has confirmed that 62% of the votes received were in favor.    Many   of you as . . .

Congratulations, Mr. Flynn!

Congratulations to AGPS Middle School Principal, Mr. Matt Flynn.  He has been selected as the Nebraska State Association of Secondary School Principals 2025 New Principal of the Year !
