Ashland-Greenwood's Ag Educator, Ashley Looper, attended this summer's CASE Conference at Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma, and developed a Soybean Curriculum for the classroom through a scholarship from the Nebraska Soybean Board. Ms. Looper completed a STEM-based CASE (Curriculum for AgriScience Education) training. The CASE Intro to AFNR training provided a curriculum to agricultural education teachers. Derek Tonjes, a standout athlete from Ashland-Greenwood High School, was named the 2026 Lincoln Journal Star Boys Athlete of the Year. Tonjes capped off a historic high school career as an all-state quarterback and a basketball state champion. Rising from a former team ball boy and student manager to one of the most decorated athletes in school history, he also eclipsed 1,000 career points on the hardwood. He is set to continue his basketball career at Concordia University Nebraska.

The final day of school for students will be Friday, May 15th, 2026; this will be an early dismissal day for students. The final contract day for certified staff will be Tuesday, May 19th. AGPS Again Thanks Our Community!
Thank you to I3 Bank and the multiple businesses and community members who recently donated! This year, I3 Bank replaced their traditional holiday canned food drive with collecting donations to help support unpaid hot lunch bills for Ashland-Greenwood students.
