Special Election - November 4th, 2025

The Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools Board of Education recently passed a resolution calling for a Special Election.  The AGPS Board is requesting support for authorization to exceed its property tax request authority for the fiscal year 2026-2027.  As a registered voter, please consider  attending an informational meeting so that you may be informed before voting in the November election.   Community Informational Meetings have been scheduled for:  Wednesday, October 8th at 12:00 . . .

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on October 22nd  from 1:30-8:30 pm. We will again be using the online platform, MyConferenceTime, to register for Parent-Teacher Conferences this year. All A-G schools will use this format to sign-up. If you would like your children to have back-to-back conferences, then you will want to register accordingly. We hope this platform continues to streamline our parent-teacher conferences sign-up process.  Preschool parent-teacher sign-up links will be sent later this week.  . . .

School Picture Retake Day

School Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Monday, October 6th for all schools.  Modern Images provided information regarding their School Day Retake Policy and requirements with your students picture packets , so please be sure to look that information over ahead of time.  If you have any questions, please call their customer service team at 402-991-7786 or email them at service@modernimages.org. ALLO for Education

Every new residential customer who signed up for ALLO service from November through December 2024 was presented with the opportunity to select a school to receive a $50 donation from ALLO. Supporting education means supporting the difference makers, the little learners, and the homework helpers. Lives are changed every day in our schools. Nebraska Department of Education’s 2025 School Emergency Mapping Grant

Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools was recently notified that our application was selected for the Nebraska Department of Education’s 2025 School Emergency Mapping Grant. This grant is designed to enhance the safety and security of Nebraska’s students, staff, and visitors by implementing a comprehensive mapping data system. Congratulations to Mr. Matt Flynn - Outstanding New Middle School Principal of the Year

Ashland-Greenwood Middle School Principal, Matt Flynn, was recognized by Region I Nebraska State Association of Secondary Principals as the outstanding new middle school principal of the year.  (Principals in their first 3 years in the role are eligible for this award.)  Mr. Flynn was not only surprised upon receiving the award, but was also appreciative when several of his Ashland-Greenwood colleagues and his wife, Liz Flynn, were present to help enjoy the announcement!   Congratulations to Mr. Flynn . . .

Playground Expansion Complete at Ashland-Greenwood Primary Elementary
